Hyaluronic acid is a structural component of tissue collagen in all living organisms. It gives elasticity and firmness to tissues, hydrates skin and hair, and fills the eyes.

Symptoms

The production of every protective factor in the body declines with age, and hyaluronic acid is no exception. The decline in hyaluronic acid levels accompanies the aging process, and it is estimated that by the time we reach 45, its composition is half of what the body requires.

Therapy

Injectable Hyaluronic Acid can correct various signs of facial aging or enhance certain features. It is an extremely flexible material that offers a variety of alternative ways to approach problems, which are sometimes decided together with the patient.

Areas commonly used are:

  • Upper lip wrinkles (smoker’s lines)
  • Wrinkles at the sides of the mouth (nasolabial folds and frown or marionette lines)
  • Cheek wrinkles
  • Increasing lip volume (fuller lips) or enhancing their contour
  • Cheekbone volume enhancement
  • Dark circles under the eyes
  • Grooves under the eyelid (tear trough)
  • Strengthening the contour of the lower jaw and chin
  • Acne scars
  • Face lift with hyaluronic acid (liquid face lift) – selective fillers with which we achieve a feeling of “lifting” of sagging areas while simultaneously eliminating wrinkles as well as deep hydration with hyaluronic acid similar to that of Mesotherapy.

Common Questions

Yes, the aesthetic result is almost immediate. It takes 2-3 days for the medicine to spread and set. It takes up to 2 weeks to perfect the image, because these materials have the property of accumulating moisture in their molecules progressively.

Each session lasts a maximum of 30 minutes. You should also calculate the time required for the consultation process with your doctor, before the treatment and the application of a local anesthetic.

Newer products are gentler and contain local anesthetic, making the injection even easier and less painful. The use of xylocaine is recommended.

Of course NOT. You can even schedule the session during your lunch break and return to work immediately afterwards. A slight redness at the injection sites will be evident.

Depending on the choice of material, quantity, density and application site, the results last from 6 to 12 and sometimes up to 24 months.
