Cellulite is a chronic degenerative process of subcutaneous fat that causes changes in the texture of the skin. It can be caused by various factors, ranging from hereditary and hormonal to pathological (such as endocrine disorders or other medical conditions). Other contributing factors may include fluctuations in body weight, a sedentary lifestyle combined with smoking and lack of exercise, poor diet, alcohol consumption, and uncontrolled stress.
Body mesotherapy for cellulite correction is performed in injectable form mainly on the thighs and buttocks, but also in the abdominal area, with the aim of correcting cellulite.
In addition to improving the image, the benefits of this treatment are many:
Mesotherapy is an injectable treatment. So while theoretically one could assume that it is a painful treatment, in practice the application is almost painless.
This is because, on the one hand, the needles we use during mesotherapy are designed specifically for this purpose and are extremely thin, and on the other hand, because the mesotherapy solution is not particularly painful.
The application lasts about 20 minutes. Immediately afterward, moderate redness and swelling may appear in the treated area, which usually subside within a few hours or days. The person generally returns to their activities with minimal interruption. The treatment is repeated approximately every 4 weeks. Typically, about 3 to 6 sessions are required for a good result, depending on the severity of the condition.
First of all, the side effects of mesotherapy are minimal and short-lived. Small local bruises may appear at the injection sites; they are temporary and painless, and resolve on their own within 24 to 72 hours. Temporary local erythema (redness) may also occur where the substance is injected—a completely normal reaction that, in some cases, indicates the technique is producing the desired effect. Adherence to basic skin antisepsis principles, along with expertise in injectable mesotherapy techniques, essentially rules out more serious complications.
